Governor Mike Parson delivers Keynote Address to 2020 AIM Conference

Continuing what has become a tradition, Governor Mike Parson addressed the 2020 Missouri Tax, Manufacturing & Business Conference, hosted by Associated Industries of Missouri (AIM), last week.

Governor Parson was introduced by AIM Chairman of the Board of Directors Jerry M. Hunter of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner.

The Governor spoke about his accomplishments, including record low unemployment prior to the pandemic, resources to bolster the state's workforce, and the importance of infrastructure, including broadband, especially with regard to the impact on students. He also talked about leading the state through the COVID-19 crisis.

The conference was held virtually this year due to COVID-19, but was a complete success. Parson had given remarks at several previous AIM conferences, and even announced the launch of the "Buy Missouri" program at one such conference when he served as Lt. Governor.
