AIMPAC endorses David Cole for Missouri Senate in 2020

Associated Industries of Missouri Political Action Committee (AIMPAC) today announced the organization’s support for Missouri Senate District 29 candidate David Cole in the 2020 election.

"As Chairman of the Board of Directors of Associated Industries of Missouri and speaking on behalf of the Board of Directors, we wholeheartedly and unanimously endorse David Cole for election in the Republican Primary for Missouri State Senate, District 29," said Jerry M. Hunter, partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and Chairman of the Board of Associated Industries of Missouri. “David not only has been very active in civic and community affairs in the Cassville and Joplin, Missouri, areas, but he served as Chairman of the Missouri Republican Party and has been a strong and unapologetic advocate for limited and conservative government, opposing efforts by Democrats, trial attorneys, and big government liberals to expand state government and raise taxes. Based on David’s conservative record and philosophy, we endorse him fully and will support his efforts to win the Republican Primary for Missouri State Senate, District 29," said Hunter.

“Today we announce our support for the best business conservative in this race, David Cole,” said Ray McCarty, President and CEO of Associated Industries of Missouri. “David believes, as we do, that we must establish a fairer legal system in Missouri and prevent frivolous lawsuits,” he said.

“Associated Industries of Missouri has been at the forefront of the push to make Missouri a business-friendly state where employers and employees can grow and thrive," said David Cole. "AIM led the fight on policies that are developing our workforce, cutting needless regulations, and making Missouri more competitive. As a small business owner myself, I know the challenges facing businesses and how important it is to have advocates like AIM helping Missouri businesses succeed in a 21st-century economy. I am very proud to have AIM's endorsement,” he said.

Established in 1919, Associated Industries of Missouri is the state’s oldest advocate for businesses in Missouri.
