Supply chain issues? Go local!!!
Updated: May 3, 2022
Are you having supply chain issues? Maybe your supplier is located overseas and you are having problems moving goods through ports. Or maybe your supplier is a domestic supplier, but located so far away, you are susceptible to weather, traffic, or other issues.
Whatever the reason, it may make sense for you to know Missouri companies that may be able to fulfill your needs. Not only will this help the Missouri economy, but it may help you get your goods more reliably and cost effectively. If there is not a Missouri company that can fulfill your needs, perhaps another domestic supplier will, but how do you find any of them?
We have TWO solutions for you: the CONNEX Missouri network and the national Manufacturers Marketplace network.
Missouri Enterprise, the state's manufacturing experts, is providing Missouri manufacturers with the opportunity to connect with Missouri suppliers through CONNEX Missouri FREE. Manufacturers and suppliers should click HERE to learn more.
While Missouri Enterprise is covering Missouri manufacturers subscription to the state level supplier network, you may also access the national Manufacturers Marketplace network for a modest fee of $500 per year.
To sign up for to the national CONNEX Marketplace:

Search 140,000 manufacturers in the U.S. - The Marketplace connects you with manufacturers in the U.S. so you can find what you need closer to your facility. Searching is quick and easy, and you can filter searches by state, city, product, process, capability, certification, NAICS, and SIC codes. Be found by others who need what you provide - The Marketplace allows smaller manufacturers to gain visibility among some of the largest players in the industry. It also helps larger manufacturers improve resilience and reduce dependency on distant suppliers.
