U.S. inflation pressures rise in July

U.S. consumer prices rose in July. This is part of a pattern that points a trend in rising inflation and shows the Federal Reserve is likely to raise interest rates.

On Friday, the Labor Department said the Consumer Price Index advanced 0.2 percent.The CPI rose 0.1 percent in June.
