U.S. and Mexico Target Nafta Cars Deal by End of Week

U.S. and Mexican negotiators are attempting to work out a Nafta deal relating to automobiles that would allow Canada to rejoin talks.

An agreement on automobiles would allow the U.S. to turn its attention to issues that affect Canada. It would also leave difficult issues to be discussed among all three countries.
