President Donald Trump plans to make his third Missouri appearance in just more than six months this week as he visits the St. Louis area to discuss tax cuts and the economy.
Trump is expected to appear Wednesday at Boeing’s Hazelwood plant with Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley and a handful of other GOP and business leaders. The White House described the event as a “roundtable discussion” that will highlight “the savings and benefits they have experienced as a result of the Tax Cut and Jobs Act.”
That event is by invitation only but open to media. Trump’s airport arrival will be open to the public, according to the White House. Details were still being worked out Friday afternoon.
Missouri Treasurer Eric Schmitt and Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft also are expected to join the roundtable discussion.
