Trump EPA to keep and defend Obama smog rule
In a federal court filing on Wednesday, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that it will not revisit the 2015 National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for ozone. It will move forward with an accelerated review of the ozone standards due in 2020.
The EPA made several mistakes in its 2015 rule. Manufacturers must deal with these mistakes during implementation of the 2015 ozone NAAQS.
