AIM partner TrakBill announces it is launching a new app that will allow Android users to keep up with legislation in real time.
The new app, released Tuesday, rounds out a powerful suite of legislative tracking tools. Following in the footsteps of the iPhone and iPad app launch earlier this year, this new app empowers users to integrate state or Federal committee hearing schedules with their Android calendar and to set reminders for hearings of interest. Available for use in 19 states and Congress, TrakBill subscribers can now search, track and receive real-time notifications on legislation from their mobile device.
“After listening to the feedback of our subscribers, we understand how important it is for users to have access to legislative information wherever they are,” said TrakBill founder Steven Marciniak. The Android app can be downloaded for free from the Play Store by searching ‘TrakBill’ or click here.
“Associated Industries of Missouri uses TrakBill and recommends the system to our member businesses”, said Ray McCarty, president of Associated Industries of Missouri. “The system helps us track legislation that will affect our members and gives us the information quick enough that we can actually affect change in legislation if necessary. Real-time updates of hearings and other actions on our bills via cell phone or other methods chosen by the users make this a critical program to any lobbyist or government affairs employee.”
