The Clay County Economic Development Council has named Tony Reinhart of Ford Motor Company recipient of the 2017 Look North Award.
The Look North Leadership award was created to recognize the outstanding leadership accomplishments of a person who has made an invaluable contribution to economic development and quality of life in Clay County. Criteria used in the selection process may include one or all of the following: business achievement; civic leadership; cultural contribution and/or philanthropic commitment. The award is merit-based, and no deceased person or in-office elected government official is eligible.
“Tony Reinhart has served as a leader in so many organizations, including the Associated Industries of Missouri and the Clay County Economic Development Council,” said Ray McCarty, president/CEO of AIM who was on hand for the award ceremony. “I can think of no other single business leader who has had such a broad impact over so many organizations, not just in Missouri, but in other states as well. Tony makes many personal sacrifices as he serves in these volunteer roles to the benefit of all Missouri businesses and we congratulate him on receiving this well-deserved award,” said McCarty.
