Economic improvement and low gas prices are contributing to a boost in Thanksgiving travels for Americans this year. In fact, the American Automobile Association expects it to be the busiest travel season in nine years, with 1 million more Americans doing Thanksgiving traveling compared to last year. About 89 percent are expected to go by car.
A boost in travel also means good news for rental company and AIM Chairman’s Council member Enterprise Holdings, who report their car rental reservations up more than 5 percent compared to last year.
