According to an article by the Maryville Daily Forum, a study ties a proposed sports complex to jobs that would create a large economic impact in the region. The complex would be a 137,000 square-foot athletics and special events center at Northwest Missouri State University, and the study indicates the $20 million facility could create the equivalent of 946 jobs and add nearly $24 million in income over the next 18 years.
