Tuesday, January 21st, 2020 Making sure your OSHA Logs are compliant
Many employers are required by law to track injuries and illnesses in the workplace, and keep a summary posted between February 1 and April 30. The information from this log (OSHA Form 300) is also used by insurance companies and your business partners to evaluate your company's safety performance, so keeping accurate records is vital. If you are responsible for keeping these logs and staying compliant with OSHA's recordkeeping rule and reporting requirements, this free continental breakfast and two hour workshop will provide the following professional resources and support:
• Review of the federal law outlining your responsibilities • Review of the OSHA 300 Log and other required forms
• Discuss the importance of "OSHA Rate" calculations • Review top 10 mistakes made during recordkeeping
• On-line resources to ensure accurate reporting
• Case studies of recording scenarios Bring your questions, bring your completed logs, bring your problem cases, and we'll provide the expertise, and breakfast.
There is no cost to attend but space is limited and registration is required. Please RSVP by January 15, 2020 to Dana Bernstetter 314-342-7175 dana.bernstetter@usi.com
