"We congratulate Nucor Steel on this honor," said Ray McCarty, president and CEO of Associated Industries of Missouri. "Nucor is a great employer in Sedalia and we are happy for all the jobs they have created and economic activity they have brought to Sedalia and the State of Missouri," he said.

Sedalia and Pettis County have a rich history of supporting industrial businesses through company expansions and the establishment of new facilities. Home to over 70 manufacturing and industrial-related businesses, Sedalia and Pettis County are proud to highlight the significant economic impact these businesses have through the annual Sedalia Showcase event. The Sedalia Showcase brings together local, regional and statewide leadership from the private and public sector in the day-long event. The Sedalia Showcase serves as a great way to market the community for future economic development opportunities.
