Nolte Gets First Round Approval for Business Tax Cut
May 2 – Representative Jerry Nolte today shepherded HB 1639 through the Missouri House floor today. The bill, drafted and supported by Associated Industries of Missouri, would reduce the taxes of EVERY Missouri business by 50% over 5 years. Safeguards are included to be sure income tax revenues continue to increase as the business taxes are reduced.
“AIM thanks Representative Nolte for his strong leadership in getting this bill through the Missouri House,” said Ray McCarty, president of Associated Industries of Missouri. “This bill contains the strongest broad based tax relief bill the legislature has considered in recent memory.”
