More good news on Missouri unemployment

According to seasonally adjusted data released today by the Missouri Department of Economic Development, Missouri’s unemployment rate fell by three-tenths of a point in November to 4.7 percent, which is lower than the national average of 5 percent and the lowest state rate since April 2006.

Missouri’s nonfarm payroll employment also increased by 2,200 jobs over the month.

November’s job growth was led by the construction industry, which added 1,500 jobs during the month.
