Mike Kehoe appointed Missouri Lieutenant Governor

Governor Mike Parson has appointed state Senate Majority Floor Leader Mike Kehoe to the position of lieutenant governor.

AIM President and CEO Ray McCarty offered his support and congratulations to Lt. Governor Kehoe.

“The events of the last several weeks have made history in Missouri,” said McCarty. “Associated Industries of Missouri applauds Governor Mike Parson’s appointment of Senate Majority Leader Mike Kehoe to serve as lieutenant governor. We believe these two dedicated public servants will put the best interests of the taxpayers and citizens of Missouri first and we offer our support and assistance to them as they begin this brand new day in Missouri,” he said.

The lieutenant governor’s office has been vacant since June 1, when former Governor Eric Greitens resigned and Parson took over the position.
