McCarty attends Sedalia Showcase

Associated Industries of Missouri president Ray McCarty was among the invited guests for the 10th Annual Sedalia Showcase hosted by Sedalia-Pettis County Economic Development, led by Linda Christle.

Community and business leaders from around Pettis County attended the affair Thursday (August 14) which included a visit to AIM member Waterloo Industries, the world’s largest tool storage manufacturer.  The event highlighted the area’s focus on attracting and retaining high quality manufacturing jobs in the area and the value that is provided to the community and the state from those jobs.

During ceremonies at the company, Sedalia-Pettis County Economic Development board president Rusty Kahrs presented Waterloo Industries General Operations Manager Russ Foote with a plaque honoring the company’s 35 year history of providing jobs for Pettis County residents.
