Manufacturing Day (MFG DAY) is just around the corner! This is the time when we celebrate the industry and inspire the next generation of manufacturers and workers. This year, Manufacturing Day officially occurs on Oct 5, 2018, but manufacturers can choose anytime during the month of October to celebrate their incredibly important role in their community and in the American economy. Celebrate for a day or a week!
In support of Manufacturing Day, Missouri Enterprise is offering banners to companies (and supporters such as chambers and banks) in the industry to display at their facilities in recognition of this annual event.
Do you need a new Manufacturing Day banner to display this year, or do you have one that is still serviceable from previous years? They also want to recognize the number of years you have participated in Manufacturing Day with our new durable service stars. The banner will be 8’ x 2’ and have grommets on all four corners. They will add your logo on the left to personalize it for you, see the example below. Click here to fill out the banner form (or to request service star stickers) and they will be in touch to obtain your artwork. Banner submissions must be made by Sept. 7, 2018. (*Please note, supplies are limited.)
You ordered the banner…..NOW WHAT?! Display it in your facility. Invite a high school out for an open house. Treat your workers with lunch. Coordinate an event with other nearby manufacturers. These are all great ways of celebrating Manufacturing Day while garnering interest from those in the community, such as emerging workers. Whatever you do, please snap a photo from your phone and tweet it to @MOEnterprise and use the #MoMFGDay hashtag, like this guy did!
