On Fri., Dec. 14, from 8 a.m. to noon in St. Louis, Missouri Enterprise is partnering with the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership to offer NO-COST Compliance Assistance to help Department of Defense (DOD) contractors, subcontractors AND suppliers comply with the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) on cybersecurity. This course is a FINAL call for those who process, store or transmit Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) AND who failed to meet the minimum-security standards by December 31, 2017. Failure to meet the requirement puts our nation at risk and jeopardizes the supply network for the DOD as those who do not act could lose their federal contract.
This NO COST track will help contractors comply with the DFARS. This offering, which is typically provided at $1,250 per company, includes: preventative training, a thorough system assessment, network scan, a Report that can be used to mitigate potential risks, and an Action Plan. The Report and Action Plan are what you need to work towards complying with DFARS. At this time, if seats go unfilled, Missouri Enterprise will accept registrations from manufacturing companies outside of the defense supply sector.
This is a first come, first serve opportunity. Registration for this session closes on Dec. 12 at 5 p.m. Learn more at http://missourienterprise.org/events/stl-session-compliance-assistance-for-dod-contractors.
