As you may know, Associated Industries of Missouri has joined with other business interests to fight the illegal St. Louis City ordinance that seeks to raise the minimum wage for employees working in the City of St. Louis above the state minimum wage.
Our efforts have been successful so far, having received one judgment in our favor, but the City has appealed this ruling.
The Missouri Business Legal Center (MBLC) is collecting contributions to fight this ordinance. The MBLC has committed to providing a portion of the funding for the legal expenses involved with fighting the City of St. Louis.
Business leaders that want to help in our fight may do so by making checks payable to the “Missouri Business Legal Center” and sending them to us at 3234 W. Truman Blvd., Jefferson City, MO 65109. The MBLC is a 501 (c) 6 organization.
