Emerson acquires Canadian data management company

Emerson has acquired iSolutions Inc., a Canadian consulting group that specializes in data management.

iSolutions has worked with oil and gas, power and utilities customers to collect data from production facilities and help integrate it into business systems.

For Emerson, a technology and engineering company based in the St. Louis area, the acquisition is expected to accelerate deployment of industrial internet of things technology.
