Economic Development Bill Clears House Committee

October 5 – After a lengthy stay in the House Economic Development Committee, the economic development bill, Senate Bill 8, was approved by the Committee, clearing the way for full debate by the House of Representatives on Thursday. The House did not approve the Senate version of the bill, but substituted their own language. The House is scheduled to begin debating the bill at 9:00 Thursday morning. Stay tuned for more updates…
