Democratic State Representative switches party; now 118 Republicans in House

State Representative Linda Black of Bonne Terre won election Tuesday night to her fourth and final term in the Missouri House of Representatives. She won election as a Democrat, but by Wednesday, she was caucusing with Republicans and announced that she was switching parties.
