Chinese Spies Nabbed in Sedalia

You may think your company is safe, but incidents like these are not that uncommon.  In fact, Missouri Enterprise is teaming up with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (yes, the FBI) to provide a free webinar for you on the subject entitled,”Economic Espionage and Cyber Security Webinar.” Associated Industries of Missouri encourages our members to take advantage of this free opportunity to learn how to protect your company’s assets.

Missouri Enterprise, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Missouri University of Science and Technology and Missouri SBTDC are sponsoring the 2-hour, interactive Webinar from 8 – 10 am on September 19 to help small- and medium-size manufactures recognize economic espionage and cyber security threats and learn how to deal with them.  The 3-part Webinar, presented by FBI experts, will cover general “Awareness of Economic Espionage and how important it is for a company to protect their intellectual property/proprietary information; how to protect yourself and your companies’ intellectual property and proprietary information when traveling both abroad and domestically; and who, how, when and where countries, companies and individuals, including unknowing or disgruntled employees, are using Cyber Warfare to steal their intellectual property and proprietary information.
