Burden of proof continues to move

Rep. Denny Hoskins’ House Bill 1455, a bill that would shift the burden of proof to the tax collecting agency in tax cases, was passed by the Missouri House and now heads to the Missouri Senate for further consideration.  The bill is a priority for Associated Industries of Missouri.

A similar bill was passed by a Senate committee last week (see story below).
