AIM supported legislation that will modernize healthcare is on its way to the Governor’s desk.
The Missouri House this week gave overwhelming approval to SB 875, sponsored by Sen. Kurt Schaefer . The legislation allows pharmacists to fill a prescription for a biologic product with a less expensive interchangeable biological product if the prescribing physician and patient okay the substitution.
The vote to give the bill final passage in the House was 144-1. The next stop for the bill is Governor Nixon’s desk.
