The Missouri House has taken up HB 470 for perfection. HB 470 is an apprenticeship bill, sponsored by Representative Derek Grier. The bill would allow the Senate Committee on Professional Registration to allow apprentices to apply for licenses in certain situations. It would allow for apprenticeships to be substituted for classroom education. If a test is required for licensure, the applicant would still be required to pass such a test.
