Ameren Missouri customers could get renewable energy easier due to the St. Louis-based utility receiving regulatory approval of its Renewable Choice Program.
The program was approved by the Missouri Public Service Commission. It will let municipalities, large commercial users and other customers who meet a threshold for energy use to essentially subscribe to receive 100 percent renewable energy.
