AIM holds Fall Board of Directors Meeting

Nearly 30 business leaders from around the state of Missouri gathered this week in Jefferson City for the annual fall meeting of the Associated Industries Board of Directors.

The group met throughout the day, outlining goals for the association for the coming year, as well as setting legislative priorities for the upcoming session of the Missouri General Assembly. Those legislative priorities will be presented in the weeks ahead.

The group held several hours of open discussions and heard from legislative leaders, such as State Rep. T.J. Berry (R-38), and State Senators Will Kraus, Doug Libla, and Mike Parson. All said they were dedicated to working on legislation designed to cut taxes, although each legislator had his own ideas on how it should be done.

“The meeting was a total success,” said AIM president Ray McCarty. “The information that we shared and the plans that we made will help our organization and all its member companies move forward to grow and thrive into the future.”
