Missouri Lawyers Media plans to honor 26 attorneys across the state with its 2020 ICON Awards, given to attorneys displaying "notable and sustained success and leadership both within and beyond the field of law." The ICON Awards are presented to "distinguished men and women attorneys age 60 and older in recognition of their exemplary careers and longstanding commitment to the Missouri legal community." Honorees must hold or have held a senior position with significant decision-making authority for their firm or organization.
One recipient of the 2020 ICON Award will be Jerry M. Hunter, partner in the St. Louis office of the Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner law firm, and Chairman of the Board of Associated Industries of Missouri (AIM).
"Jerry is widely recognized for his legal expertise, particularly in the employment and labor, environmental and government regulation fields of law," said Ray McCarty, president and CEO of AIM. "His vast experience includes national and state government service as well as working to help resolve employer-employee public and private sector issues."
Although the article mentions a luncheon date in June, the luncheon has been delayed until August due to COVID-19.
