American Marksman, an Omaha-based company, has won tax incentives to create an ammunition re-manufacturing operation at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence. The new operation will purchase rejected ammunition made for the U.S. Department of Defense and reassemble it for the commercial market.
Missouri granted tax credits to help American Marksman train up to 65 employees.
