Tax withholding issue draws rebuke from state lawmakers

Missourians expecting a tax refund this April may instead learn they owe the state money due to a withholding error.

The issue, arising from the Department of Revenue’s withholding tables, was corrected in September. However, on Wednesday, lawmakers expressed concern over the issue not being communicated to taxpayers.
