Writer: AIM TeamAIM Team

The Missouri Senate voted today 23-8 to override Governor Jay Nixon’s veto of Senate Bill 509. The bill now must be passed by a 2/3 majority vote of the Missouri House. If so passed, it will become law.

Associated Industries of Missouri thanks the Missouri Senate for passing this common sense legislation.

“Taxpayers should share in the growth of tax revenues and we are happy that we have moved one step closer to allowing them to do so,” said Ray McCarty, president of Associated Industries of Missouri.
