Record U.S. job openings

U.S. job openings are at record high in July.  More Americans are also voluntarily quitting their jobs.

The amount of people quitting their jobs indicates a strong market and points to the possibility of wage growth. The Labor Department’s monthly Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey, or JOLTS, released on Tuesday also suggested a further tightening in labor market conditions.
