Marc Ellinger, Chairman of the Selection Committee of Associated Industries of Missouri, announced today the election of Raymond T. Wagner, Jr., as the Chairman of the Board of Associated Industries of Missouri (AIM) at the Association Board of Directors meeting November 13, 2014.
Ray Wagner is Vice President of Government & Public Affairs for Enterprise Holdings, Inc., headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. In that capacity, he oversees the government and public affairs programs for Enterprise Holdings, works to build relationships with local, state and national officials, and manages the legislative agenda for the company, working to ensure that customers and employees are well represented.
“Ray is recognized as one of the most distinguished business leaders, not just in the State of Missouri, but across the nation,” said Ellinger. “Having Ray Wagner as our new Chairman of the Board demonstrates, again, that AIM is one of the preeminent groups looking out for the best interests of Missouri’s businesses.”

Ray earned his Bachelor of Arts degree and his M.B.A. at St. Louis University. He obtained his J.D. law degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and completed a Master of Laws-Taxation (LL.M.) degree from Washington University School of Law.
Wagner has a long history of public service, having served as Director of Revenue in both Missouri and Illinois, as legal counsel to Missouri Governor John Ashcroft, as law clerk for then-Chief Justice Andrew Jackson Higgins of the Missouri Supreme Court, and as a municipal judge for the City of Ballwin. He has also engaged in the private practice of law in the areas of securities, municipal finance, banking, corporate and tax law. Ray serves or has served on the boards of numerous business-related, philanthropic and governmental organizations over the years.
