NO Cost Cybersecurity Assistance for DoD contractors, subcontractors & suppliers

This is a LAST CALL for the Kansas City Compliance Assistance which is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Nov. 16. Registration for this NO COST offering ends today, Nov. 15. This will be the only time it is offered this in the Kansas City area at no cost. If you are not able to attend this session, two additional sessions are scheduled in St. Louis and Springfield for the year (see below). Spaces are filling up! Register at https://bit.ly/2zCgKFn.

WHAT IS IT: This Compliance Session is made possible through a federal grant to help Dept. of Defense contractors, subs, and suppliers work towards meeting the cybersecurity standards set forth in DFARs. These standards were to have been met last December. However, as a final attempt to help these companies meet compliance and protect their contracts, Missouri Enterprise is offering NO COST assistance.

Remaining Compliance Assistance Sessions: Kansas City – Nov. 16, 8 a.m. – noon, Columbia College (8 spaces available) Springfield – Nov. 30, 8 a.m. – noon, eFactory (10 spaces available) St. Louis – Dec. 14, 8 a.m. – noon, Missouri Enterprise’s office (3 spaces available)

You only need to register for ONE of the sessions (KC, Springfield or STL).

The assistance includes the half-day workshop, a non-evasive network scan, and development of a Report & Action plan. By taking part in this assistance, your company can work towards complying with the federal requirements.

This assistance is specifically geared towards small to medium sized manufacturers that have contracts with the DoD or work with companies that contract with DoD. Did you know that 43 percent of all spear-phishing attacks targeted businesses with fewer than 250 employees? These companies often have the mindset that cyberattacks won’t happen to them—which is why the federal government is taking necessary steps to force preventative action by requiring those doing business with them to have safety measures in place. Register today and protect your contract and your informational property.
