Missouri unemployment ticks up slightly, remains below US average

Missouri’s unemployment rate stayed at or below the U.S. rate for the 46th consecutive month in January.

January’s 3.2 percent rate was one-tenth of a point higher than the rate over the last two months of 2018, according to a Department of Economic Development report.
