Associated Industries of Missouri president Ray McCarty led AIM’s annual board trip to Washington D.C. this week.
The board spent the latter part of the week meeting with the state’s congressional delegation, discussing Missouri issues that resonate in the nation’s capital.
The group picked a busy time to travel to D.C. The House is due to take up final passage of trade legislation that will give presidents sweeping new authority to make trade deals with overseas governments. The Senate is also sending signals that it will re-authorize the Export-Import Bank before its charter expires at the end of the month.
Ray will have the details on his trip in next week’s AIM blog and E-Voice.
