Gov. Nixon to join Clayton law firm in 2017

Gov. Jay Nixon will join Clayton law firm Dowd Bennett next year, c0-founder Jim Bennett said Friday.

“We’re delighted to have Gov. Nixon join us,” Bennett said in an interview. “We think that our clients will benefit from his well learned experience and judgement.”

Nixon will likely join the firm in late January as a partner, working on internal and corporate investigations, litigation and regulatory matters.
