Boeing incentives package reaches final step before passage

It’s on to the House floor for the legislative package of incentives for Boeing.

SB1, as the legislation is known, today passed a vote of the Missouri House of Representatives’ Economic Development Committee without a “No” vote. Later, SB1 passed the powerful House Rules Committee, and was sent on to the House’s floor debate calendar.

The House tomorrow is expected to debate the package of incentives, and take a final vote. SB1 has the full support of House leadership, and it is expected to go through to Governor Nixon’s desk with a strong bi-partisan vote.
