Boeing 777x makes big splash at Dubai air show

It’s been a successful week for Associated Industries of Missouri Circle of Elite Organizations member Boeing at the international air show in Dubai.
The aircraft manufacturing giant made sales to three Middle Eastern airlines on Sunday alone for a total of 225 777x’s. The New York Times says Boeing now has orders for $95 billion worth of the aircraft.
The 777x is a wide bodied, long-range, airplane designed to carry up to 400 people more than 8,000 miles, with some versions able to travel up to 9,300 miles. All while cutting fuel costs by up to 12 percent over previous and contemporary craft. The plane utilizes the latest in fuel efficient design and materials.
Production on the 777x is scheduled to begin in 2017.
